Black Walnut is by far the most popular, but I am happy to work with other species! If something more exotic/expensive is requested (Purpleheart, ebony, bloodwood, etc...), I will need to get current material pricing and give you a quote. It doesn't hurt to ask :)
IMPORTANT: I have added a number of keyboard models below to make it easier to order, however this is not an all inclusive list. If your board is not shown below or if you would like a standardized size (Dimensions Shown Below), please select "other" and specify in your order notes during checkout.
The standard lengths are as follows:
- 65% - ~12.6 inches
- 75% - ~13.0 inches
- TKL - ~14.2 inches
- 100% - ~17.3 inches
If I cannot find reliable dimensional data online, I will ask for confirmation before producing your order.
NEO75 NOTES: I am happy to produce rests to match, however, I am planning a Neo75-specific run soon. This will accommodate the lower overall front height and offer the choice of brass or copper accents to match your builds. This particular run will also be "stealthy" and limited. (Early 2025)
Our hardwood wrist rests are made from hand-selected materials and finished with our in-house blend of mineral oil and 100% pure beeswax.
Each hardwood wrist rest includes pre-applied non-slip rubber pads to prevent unintended movement.
** Some examples shown are of standard variants. All stealth orders will be produced with the makers mark on the bottom side.
Materials and care
Materials and care
Hardwoods are an all-natural material that can have a wide variety of color and grain patterns. (Even among the same species of wood.)
While dimensionally speaking it can be made again, This ultimately means your order is uniquely yours and can never be reproduced exactly the same!
Keep clean and away from any spills/excess moisture.
If the surface appears dull/"dry":
- Gently apply Board Finish with a soft cloth or paper towel, rubbing in circular motions while leaving a thin "film" of beeswax on the surface. (NOTE: A little goes a long way BUT it should look streaky at this point. This means there is enough wax left on the surface.)
- Allow the finish to sit for ~10-15 minutes and absorb
- With gentle yet firm pressure, buff the remaining wax into the surface until you have a satisfying sheen and have removed any excess leftover wax.
