Metal Inlaid Wooden Keyboard Wrist Rest
Metal Inlaid Wooden Keyboard Wrist Rest
Our hardwood wrist rests are made from hand-selected materials and finished with our in-house blend of mineral oil and 100% pure beeswax.
Each hardwood wrist rest includes pre-applied non-slip rubber pads to prevent unintended movement.
Copper: Reddish tones
Brass: Yellow/Gold tones
Important Notes:
- Maker's mark ("logo") on the underside of all metal inlaid rests.
- All wrist rests are ~3.5 inches wide and ~3/4 inches tall at their highest point.
- The copper and brass pieces are uncoated (besides the oil/beeswax finish) and will patina as they age. Treat it how you want. If you would like more patina, maintain it less. You want less? Wax/buff it more.
- To ensure accurate sizing, please specify your keyboard model and/or size in the text box below OR order notes. (I.e. GMMK Pro, Keychron Q1, Mode Sonnet, QK65, 75%, TKL/80%, etc...).
If a general keyboard size format is specified, the standard lengths are as follows:
- 60% - ~11.80 inches
- 65% - ~12.6 inches
- 75% - ~13.0 inches
- TKL - ~14.2 inches
- 100% - ~17.3 inches
Examples shown:
Mode Envoy (White) - Black Walnut w/ Copper Inlay
Qwertykeys QK100 (Yellow) - Black Walnut w/ Brass Inlay
Materials and care
Materials and care
Hardwoods are an all-natural material that can have a wide variety of color and grain patterns. (Even among the same species of wood.)
While dimensionally speaking it can be made again, This ultimately means your order is uniquely yours and can never be reproduced exactly the same!
Keep clean and away from any spills/excess moisture.
If the surface appears dull/"dry":
- Gently apply Board Finish with a soft cloth or paper towel, rubbing in circular motions while leaving a thin "film" of beeswax on the surface. (NOTE: A little goes a long way BUT it should look streaky at this point. This means there is enough wax left on the surface.)
- Allow the finish to sit for ~10-15 minutes and absorb
- With gentle yet firm pressure, buff the remaining wax into the surface until you have a satisfying sheen and have removed any excess leftover wax.
